We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our patients and healthcare professionals. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will contribute to the smooth operation of our medical facility.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Register patients by verifying demographic and insurance information
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, screen and direct them appropriately
- Collect co-pays and process payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow

Wage: $16-18/hour based on experience

We are currently seeking two positions for our Canarsie location - one Part Time Receptionist and one Full Time Receptionist.
We are willing to train the right candidate.

Paying $15-16/hour.

Students welcome!

Full Time Hours:
Monday - 12PM to close (7PM or later)
Tuesday - 6:45AM to close (3PM or later)
Wednesday - 6:45 to close (4PM or later)
Thursday - 8:45AM to 4:45PM
Friday - 8:45AM to 4:45PM

Part Time Hours(~24 hours total)
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as above.

Responsibilities Include:

To our patients,

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of the untimely death of our friend and colleague, Dr. Guldeniz Doganay.

Dr. Doganay’s kind heart, expertise, and caring ways will always be remembered by her fellow physicians and her staff, as well as by the many patients she has helped throughout her years in practice. Her dedication to her patients is a reminder to all of us that kindness still has a place in this complicated world.

As we continue to mourn her loss and miss her presence in our lives, we would also like to invite all of Dr. Doganay’s patients and those people whose lives she has touched to honor her at a memorial service on Friday, September 16th at Torregrossa Funeral Home (2265 Flatbush Avenue) from 3PM-6PM.

Responsibilities include entering demographic information, verifying insurance benefits, collecting patient copays and balances, faxing, filing, scanning, and all other front desk duties. Computer literacy and ability to schedule appointments is a must. Ability to multi-task and work independently is necessary.
