Think this is “woo”?

I did too.
But I was desperate, as my clients so often are.

So what actually happened when we went through it 👇
She didn’t stretch more.
She didn’t strengthen her core.
She didn’t “fix” her body.
She told the truth she’d been swallowing for years.
Not affirmations.
Not positive thinking.
A raw, uncomfortable truth her nervous system had been suppressing.

And when that pressure lifted?
Her hip pain shut off.

Pain isn’t punishment, or a sign we’re “broken.”

It’s protection.
When the brain no longer believes you’re in danger, it stops creating pain.
I didn’t think it could be true but I gave it a shot and now I’ve got MYSELF BACK and am training for my second marathon!!! 🏃 (Barcelona, 2026 baby!)

If you’re interested in learning how YOU can unlearn your pain, comment YES (or click the link in my bio) and I’ll send you a link to apply for my free upcoming Zero Pain Mastermind to eliminate persistent pain and conditions. ❤️‍🩹

Like millions of people, Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld was in devastating pain.

So bad that it was ending his career.

Chronic back pain.
Migraines.
Daily suffering that no treatment seemed to touch.

Doctors told Barry what they tell almost everyone:
Disc issues, structural damage, something “wrong” with his body...

Sound familiar?

What most people don’t know is that Barry was friends with Howard Stern — and Howard had already healed after learning about Dr. John Sarno at NYU.

Howard told Barry:
“Dude, you have GOT to get this Dr. Sarno book. TRUST ME!”

Barry was skeptical.
But he was desperate.

So he tried it.

He learned how pain can be generated by the brain — not as a mistake, but as a defense.
And once he understood that?

The pain stopped.

Barry went on to create Men in Black, Get Shorty, and eventually produced the documentary Pain in America, exposing how misunderstood chronic pain really is.

At the same time Barry was healing, I was living my own version of hell — stuck on a couch, neck brace on, barely able to move, terrified my body was failing me.

Doctors told me the same things they told Barry.
And like him, nothing helped.

So I tried something different.

Today, I’m training for my second marathon (Barcelona, March 2026, baby! ).
More importantly — I feel like myself again.

I’m endlessly grateful I didn’t stop at “this is just how it is.”

If you’re curious to learn more, I’m starting a free 3-Day Zero Pain Mastermind where I walk you through the same Sarno-based process that helped Barry, Howard — and me.

1️⃣ Beating yourself up over the smallest misstep or mistake instead of being kind and soothing yourself as you would do for a friend who messed up.

2️⃣ Flying into an uncontrollable rage at that slightest provocation. outer rage is a huge indicator that there’s plenty in the unconscious... a common factor for those with chronic pain.

3️⃣ Going out of your way to make sure others are happy, even complete strangers, while not doing basic self-care for yourself.

4️⃣ Thanking others incessantly. this is often a sign of past trauma and/or growing up without a feeling of safety.

5️⃣ Having a constant low-level anxiety and thinking it’s normal. the brain creates pain when it’s in danger and this constant lowkey fight or flight plays a big part in chronic pain taking hold.

None of this is to make you feel bad, weird or shamed!

It’s to bring AWARENESS! It’s a great sign if you have these traits, because that means its very likely your pain can be healed! ❤️‍🩹

Dr. Sarno, at NYU’s School of Rehabilitative Medicine pioneered the idea that repressed emotions and stress can lead to chronic pain and conditions. The result?

Thousands and thousands of people have healed their pain.

If you’ve tried everything and nothing works, I urge you to give this a go as I did.

I am SO GLAD I am back to who I was.
You CAN be yourself again too, I promise. ❤️‍🩹

Like so many sufferers, legendary radio DJ Howard Stern had excruciating back and shoulder pain that NOTHING seemed to help.

While Howard was lying on the studio floor in agony in between interviewing some of the most famous people on the planet, I was going through my own version of hell, stuck on my couch with a neck brace on.

Doctors told him the same thing they tell everyone: You have a disc bulge, or a spinal abnormality or nerve compression from an opening that’s too small.

(It wasn’t until much later that I read a New England Journal of Medicine study from 1994 that found many totally healthy people with zero symptoms have these SAME abnormalities! Many studies have since concluded the same thing.)

Doctors told me the same thing they told Howard.

Howard didn’t buy it. And neither did I, especially since nothing helped.

Howard had heard from a friend about a Dr. Sarno at NYU who was healing pain that other doctors simply couldn’t. He was tired of the suffering and was ready to try ANYTHING.

The result? Howard Stern dedicated his autobiography to Dr. Sarno and said he “owed my life” to him.

I’m one of the thousands of people who feel exactly the same way.

I went from being an utter ball of misery, barely able to move my head, with knees so sore and tight, to where I am now: Training for my second marathon (March 2026 in Barcelona!)
I am SO glad that I didn’t listen to others and tried something different.
I feel like MYSELF AGAIN!

If you’re curious to learn more, I’m starting a free 3 Day Zero Pain Challenge where I walk you through Sarno’s methods and ideas. It’s the same process that has me training for this marathon in my 50s.
