OT Spotlight ✨
Even as a child, I had a strong interest in the medical profession. My introduction to occupational therapy came during college when my father had a major stroke over Thanksgiving break and spent several weeks in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. I spent much of my Christmas break there with him and witnessed firsthand how therapists change lives and restore hope—not only for patients, but also for their families and caregivers. I fell in love with OT after seeing my dad successfully return home and back to work.
I have been an OT for 23 years, and I am grateful to still have a passion for this profession. Each day, I strive to make the same impact on my patients, families, and caregivers that I experienced during my dad’s recovery. I enjoy helping patients reach their highest potential while continuing to learn, grow, and mentor others.
OT has given me the opportunity to do what I love while making a meaningful difference, and I am truly grateful to be part of this profession.
Thank you, Nina, for your dedication and the compassionate care you provide to your patients every day Cordova Wellness & Rehabilitation Center!
