I had a new client yesterday. She asked me an interesting question -
Why aren’t there many people doing Buccal Massage?
You see, she traveled over an hour to get to me. Traffic. Expense. Time.
This is not an unusual story for me. I’ve worked with people from as far as LA, Europe and the mid-East. I’ve had people from all over NYC even though my studio is at the far, far end of Brooklyn. I’ve had people from Texas, Florida, Colorado, Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia…
How can this be? Surely there are Buccal Massage practitioners near them?
There are, but they’re not marketing in a way to be visible to the very clients who are hungry for this work. They need to show results; they need to demonstrate their authority as an expert in this work. They need to show the value of their work, and unfortunately, it’s not relaxation that sells.
For clients to plunk down their hard earned money, there needs to be a result they want.
