Join us for in person community reiki on Tuesday, September 16th ✨

Relax and improve your well-being by experiencing the nurturing power of Reiki through a 30-minute individual session. Reiki is a healing method from Japan that developed in the late 19th century. It works through placing of one’s palms in precise positions on and above a client’s specific body parts between the head and feet. During a session, the client is fully clothed and lying down on a massage table.

In Level 3, practitioners learn to balance the autonomic nervous system through the three sacred energy centers: Tonalli (crown), Teyolia (heart), and Ihiyotl (liver). Identify the 13 Aires (energetic imbalances) and its effects on the nervous system are shared, as well as the anatomy of the Endocrine. Lastly, therapeutic touch protocols to balance the nervous system will be shared.

This training is taking place on Saturday and Sunday, online via Zoom, from 1pm-8pm EST | 10am-5pm PST

S.E.R. does not require any previous experience or attunement to a healing modality, such as Reiki. However, it is recommended that participants have experience holding space for clients in any modality such as yoga teacher, doula, or therapist, and that participants are open to ancestral practices.

This program is designed for practitioners interested in deepening their understanding and ability. It is created to generate dedicated Reiki practitioners committed to continue with the mission of the global holistic community by increasing public awareness of energy healing.

Twin Attunement by Reiki Godmothers of MINKA

The Twin Attuning Method was discovered during the course of the two masters working together. Aki and Manu are Spiritual Twins who shared many lifetimes together; the energy of the two masters are intertwined during the attunement to create a deep and powerful shift of the energy bodies.

Day 1 + 2 virtual:
-5 elements theory applied in Reiki
- Pressure points with Reiki
- Energetic Boundaries and correlation with the symbols
- The master symbol and healing with this symbol
- Endocrine system and other body systems
- Healing with sacred geometry and sound
- Reiki grid and other grids
- How to run Reiki circles and group healing

Day 3 in-person:
- Having a spiritual practice: rituals, opening directions, creating sacred space
- Understanding our multidimensionality

On September 8, we’ll gather in community to explore the gentle power of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Active Meditation, and Somatic Experiencing. These practices invite us to tap into the body’s wisdom, release stress, and reconnect with balance.

Rather than “fixing,” we’ll move with curiosity while noticing sensations, honoring discomfort, and making space for ease. We’ll also practice simple tools that support resilience in both body and spirit.

Facilitated by Sunder Ashni—a flower essence therapist, Reiki Master, healing channel, and educator born and raised in Brooklyn with ancestral roots in St. Vincent & The Grenadines—this workshop is part of the MINKA x partnership, rooted in equity, diversity, and decolonizing work. Ashni’s offerings are steeped in love and the intention to re-cultivate connection with our Earth mother.

This certification course is designed for anyone who is interested in incorporating the healing energy of Reiki. There are no prerequisites for this class except for the desire to heal yourself and others around you. You will have a unique opportunity to learn from two masters who work together to bring various aspects of Reiki to life—you will leave feeling empowered and excited about your ability.

This class is for each student to gain a basic understanding of the Usui Reiki system to build a spiritual foundation and self care. We will begin with learning the history and basic principles of Reiki, how it is passed down, energetic hygiene, energy channel systems in our bodies, and learn the self-Reiki hand positions.
