INTRO: I practice a rare style of acupuncture designed to treat the underlying cause of imbalance. By treating the root cause, current symptoms are given the opportunity to resolve naturally. Beyond the improvement of specific health conditions, clients frequently report an overall increase in vitality and sense of well-being.
My office reopened September 1, 2020. The set up of the office will be a little different, as I am adhering to the reopening guidelines advised by New York State and The New York Acupuncture Board (ASNY).
Please take your temperature the night before your appointment and email/text it to me; I will also take your temperature upon entry. You will not be treated if your temperature is above 100.4 degrees.
If you are exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19 definitely do not come into the office. Symptoms include: respiratory infection, fatigue, shortness of breath, fever/chills, cough, loss of taste/smell, and muscle or body aches.
If you've been in recent contact with any person that has tested positive for Covid-19, or is suspected of having Covid-19, definitely do not come into the office. After you have successfully quarantined for 2 weeks and tested negative for Covid-19, you will be welcomed in for treatment.

Before entering my office, please wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds using the soap provided and the sink in the main hallway.
OFFICE PRECAUTIONS & SAFETY MEASURES :
1.Upon approaching my office's entranceway, I will take both your temperature and your blood oxygen saturation levels, using a forehead thermometer and a finger monitor.
You will not be treated if either your temperature is above 100.4 degrees Farenheit or your blood oxygen saturation level (SpO2) is equal to or below 90%.
2. Masks will be worn by both myself and the patient for the entirety of the treatment.
3. Ventilation. The ceiling height is 11 feet tall and reaches 15 feet underneath the large skylight. My Winix air purifier with HEPA filter is suitable for a space twice as large. There are 3 miniature "turbo" fans circulating air, and crucially the transom window above the door is fully open to promote fresh air circulation throughout the treatment.

4. Cleaning & Disinfection : All high-touch surfaces will be cleaned/disinfected before your arrival using a bleach solution, or other recommended disinfectants or cleaning products (depending on the surface material). Essentially, any surface you might come into contact with will be clean.
5. Linens, gowns and pillowcases. As always, each patient recieves a freshly laundred sheet, pillowcase and gown. All linens are washed in Wascomat W-class (Swedish company) washer and dryer machines, at the highest temperature settings.
Lastly, I am doing everything I can to both maximize safety and minimize risk; if there is anything else that can be done to make you feel comfortable, please don't hesitate to ask.
