Today marks .

Globally, people, communities and organizations are uniting to raise awareness about HIV and the impact of HIV stigma.

Oftentimes, HIV stigma can keep people from getting tested, going on antiretroviral therapy medication or getting access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).

At TBHC, we offer PrEP to prevent HIV and a whole continuum of HIV/AIDS care, including education and screening. Visit tbh.org/PATH for more info.

The Mattinglys moved to Brooklyn in 2005, but would still commute to Manhattan for doctor’s visits.

One day, retired teacher Louise Mattingly thought about why she was “schlepping” into the city for mammograms when she could try the place “literally steps” from her front door.

With excellent medical care at TBHC, a committed staff and convenience, Louise was hooked. “Then TBHC renovated the breast imaging suite, and the facilities were even nicer,” she said. Her husband, Sandy, now goes to TBHC, too, for his primary care.

Try a mammogram at TBHC. Call 718-250-6652 to make an appointment!
