On Monday we came together for part 1 of our Birthworker Storytelling and Zine-Making Workshops to speak openly and freely about who we are, how we came to birthwork and the challenges and success we face as a community. Thank you to for leading such an impactful workshop and fostering a warm and curious space.

Join us again tomorrow from 11am-1pm for part 2 of our series. On Saturday, either in-person or on zoom, artist Esmé Naumes-Givens (,) will lead us in a workshop that demonstrates how to bring our stories from our minds to the page in a zine-making workshop for birthworkers and reproductive creatives. Calling all birthworkers! Doulas 4 Democracy would like to invite you to our storytelling and zine-making workshops Monday (8/11) and Saturday (8/16), respectively, to get together and transform our personal and collective experiences into written and visual forms of expression.
