Liv Like a Unicorn board members delivered over 100 Unicorn Club packages to children undergoing cancer treatment at Maimonides.

The Unicorn Club is a special program created to bring comfort, joy, and a little bit of magic to pediatric cancer patients during some of their hardest days. Each package is thoughtfully filled with age-appropriate gifts, activities, and encouraging items designed to brighten hospital stays and remind kids that they are not alone.

For families walking through treatment, small moments of happiness can make a big difference. We are so grateful to partner with an organization that is dedicated to supporting children and easing the emotional and financial burdens of pediatric cancer.

Maimonides Health is expanding access to culturally responsive mental health care for Spanish-speaking New Yorkers.

La Clínica provides outpatient mental health services for Latino/Hispanic adults and children in a setting where patients feel seen, heard, and supported — with a dedicated team of Spanish-speaking psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers. All services, resources, and therapy groups are offered in Spanish, helping reduce language and cultural barriers to care.

This expansion reflects our continued investment in breaking down stigma and increasing access to high-quality mental health services across Brooklyn.
