This stopped me in my tracks!

Every minute someone leaves this world behind.
We are all in “the line” without knowing it.
We never know how many people are before us.
We can not move to the back of the line.
We can not step out of the line.
We can not avoid the line.

So while we wait in line -

Make moments count.
Make priorities.
Make the time.
Make your gifts known.
Make a nobody feel like a somebody.
Make your voice heard.
Make the small things big.
Make someone smile.
Make the change.
Make love.
Make up.
Make peace.
Make sure to tell your people they are loved.
Make sure to have no regrets.
Make sure you are ready

Truth! I am so so grateful to all of my friends and family who are by my side on the happiest days and also the hardest days. You make all the difference. Thank you. 💜

What sustains us on days when the storm raises her voice in protest and the sky lets loose its sorrow? The tender whisper of others’ compassion and the tiny fingers of many who catch our holy tears.

We are redeemed by the compassion we give. We are blessed by the compassion we are offered.

Thanks to each of you who bring your gentle presence to the world as best you can each day: and especially thank you for bringing it yesterday to me and Chey.

I am thankful to know that others remembered her beauty yesterday and the beauty of so many, too many, deeply loved, now departed.

My SkySpace for remembering and peace. GriefShells for including Sky when he can’t be here physically. Family gatherings are so fun and special and so so hard when you are not there….. so grateful for this little space my dad made me…. I don't speak your name so much aloud, Sky, because it hurts so bad, but I always talk with you in my mind and heart. When it's really quiet, I hear you talk back. I practice listening because I NEVER want to forget your voice. Thank you. Always my Angel, first on Earth and now in Heaven. 💜

I speak my son's name unabashedly. I refuse to let the fear of making others uncomfortable stop me from forever keeping my son a presence in my life.
