Brooklyn Free Clinic

The Brooklyn Free Clinic is a student-run clinic for any adult without health insurance. We see patients on Wednesdays from 5pm-7pm.

Please call (347)-688-6655 to book an appointment. We accept walk-ins - please arrive by 5pm to sign in for an appointment. This option is reserved for non-emergency but urgent cases, and we cannot guarantee that you will be seen if you do walk in. If it is a medical emergency, please call 911. Our services currently include: free physicals and acute care, free medications, physical therapy, mental health counseling, and various medical education workshops. The Anne Kastor Brooklyn Free Clinic (BFC) is a student-run free clinic serving the uninsured population of Brooklyn. We work to support our neighbors in the greatest need. We are comprised of medical students and health related professionals from the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and of the College of Health Related Professions. We were founded in 2006 by a group of students who felt it was their duty to reach out to our neighbors and help ensure equitable and just distribution of vital health and preventive services, including health education and literacy.
