Only two days until our 5k Run Through History. Join us this Sunday at 9am to honor and remember Fallen NYPD Detective Peter Figoski and raise money for two important charities, St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children and the PBA's Widows and Children's Fund.

Registration begins at 7:30am at 833 Jamaica Avenue.

Since being managed as a non-profit cemetery in 2011, we have worked hard to beautify Canarsie Cemetery to achieve a tranquil and serene resting place for our loved ones. This year we celebrate our 175th anniversary.

Canarsie Cemetery was established in Canarsie, Brooklyn (formerly known as the Town of Flatlands) since 1843, making 2018 our 175th anniversary. This year we celebrate 175 years of service and care for our departed loved ones.

Join us on Saturday, December 9th at 1pm as we hold our annual Meet Santa event. Santa will be taking pictures and giving out gifts to all the children. We will also have a holiday train ride for all. Free refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate the holiday season.

Join us in our effort to feed and clothe the needy! Throughout the months of July and August, Canarsie and Cypress Hills Cemeteries will be collecting canned foods and clean clothes to be donated to church pantries in our neighborhoods. Take advantage of this opportunity to give to those less fortunate. Just drop by one of our cemetery offices. Thank you!
