5 Tips from a Hand Therapist on Managing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
1. Stretch Regularly
Incorporate gentle wrist stretches into your daily routine. Wrist flexor and extensor stretches can help relieve tension and improve circulation.
2. Maintain Proper Posture
Keep your wrists in a neutral position, especially during repetitive activities like typing. Use ergonomic tools like a wrist rest or keyboard tray to support your posture.
3. Take Frequent Breaks
Avoid prolonged periods of repetitive hand and wrist movements. Schedule short breaks every 30 minutes to stretch and rest your hands.
4. Use Cold Therapy
