Happy Endometriosis Awareness Month 🎗️So much has changed since my official diagnosis of well over a decade ago. This community has evolved & so have I. Within that, I now know that a diagnosis no longer define me. It’s a great marker for medical guidance, but it’s not my identity. As I honor my past self, I’m happy for where I am now and where I’m going in the future.

For those who have struggled to try and build their families, Mother’s Day, a holiday that celebrates motherhood, can be a particularly emotionally challenging time for several reasons. While it celebrates the many paths to motherhood, it can also be complicated and emotionally challenging. It also brings to light the unspoken complications that surround this day, including amplifying diverse experiences, making meaning of suffering, cultural competency among health care providers, and so many other often overlooked implications.
