Therapeutic recreation experts know how special it is when a non-verbal resident says a few words during and after an activity—such as art, music, drama or soul therapy, a special spa treatment such as a mani, or fun games that take them back to their younger years.

And when those brief, extra meaningful and heartwarming moments happen, our rec team is floating on cloud 9… and ready to break the news during interdisciplinary team meetings.
