Snow is coming, NYC. If you wind up being outside when the fluffy stuff starts to fall, please be careful outside because roads, sidewalks and stoops will get slippery real fast.

If you’re able, lend a hand to older adults and medically-vulnerable people by shoveling and clearing a path wide enough for wheelchairs, walkers, canes and first responders. Clearing around fire hydrants is important, too. You’ll be a good neighbor and help keep your community stay safe!

Few things feel better than hearing, “Dinner’s covered!”—especially during a snowstorm. And that’s exactly what MJHS Menorah Center staff heard as the NYC storm rolled in on Friday, when the incredible kitchen team served up a delicious meal so everyone could stay focused on patient and resident care. A home‑cooked, nutritious meal wasn’t just convenient, it also kept more people off icy roads. Thank you to the kitchen team for bringing comfort, in more ways than one, during the snowstorm… and for doing this on top of cooking meals and snacks for more than 400 residents daily!
