We’re proud that One Brooklyn Health was recognized by HANYS for our Annual Gospel Fest, which bridges faith, music, and health to strengthen trust and engagement in our community. 🎶💜

For 15 years, Gospel Fest has brought together local choirs, ministries, and our very own One Brooklyn Health Gospel Choir — uniting staff from Kingsbrook, Brookdale, and Interfaith — to celebrate the powerful connection between spiritual and physical wellness.

Thank you, Healthcare Association of New York State , for highlighting our ongoing work to improve access to care, foster cultural sensitivity, and advance health equity across Brooklyn.

One Brooklyn Health (OBH) proudly celebrated a milestone year with its 15th Annual Gospel Fest, held at the Kahn Auditorium on the Brookdale Medical Center campus. In collaboration with One Brooklyn Health and Pastor Gilford T. Monrose of Mt. Zion Church of God 7th Day, this year’s celebration honored the powerful connection between spirituality and wellness that has defined the event for more than a decade.

Around 200 people attended and were moved by performances and were also moved by performances from special guest artists, many of whom are from the local community and brought their passion, musical gifts, and uplifting energy to the stage. Residents from the OBH Assisted Living enjoyed the performances alongside staff and community members, creating a powerful, inspiring experience that resonated deeply with everyone in attendance.
