This holiday season, patients at the Pierre Toussaint Diabetes Center of Excellence at One Brooklyn Health received a thoughtful gift, beautifully wrapped, One Brooklyn Health–branded socks designed to keep their feet warm, safe, and healthy. Along with the socks, patients received educational guidance on proper foot care during the winter months. The gift was warmly received, bringing smiles and joy to many. Dr. Kodroff, Endocrinologist and Lead at the Diabetes Center of Excellence, was pleased to celebrate patients’ progress and honor their continued journey toward better diabetes management with this meaningful token for the holidays.

On December 9th, 10th, and 11th, the One Brooklyn Health Gospel Choir performed its annual Holiday Christmas Caroling Tour across the three OBH campuses—Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, Interfaith Medical Center, and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, as well as OBH’s assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. The choir shared festive holiday music that uplifted patients, residents, staff, and visitors throughout Brooklyn during the season, performing beloved songs such as “O Holy Night” and “O Come All Ye Faithful.
