Melinda's Music, based in Orange County, NY, has been in existence since 1996 specializing in treating and educating people about Neurological Challenges and how Music can be a vital part of enriching, offering emotional expression and healing of one’s life (including Stroke, Tramatic Brain Injury, Dementia and more). Facilitated by NYU Master’s Degree in Music Therapy graduate, Certified Music Therapist, and NYS Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) Melinda Marks Burgard, has created opportunities for Music Therapy Programming throughout the entire tristate area. Melinda’s Music currently offers the following programs:

1 hour Workshops: Music Therapy: Utilizing Therapeutic Music as a Tool in Dementia Care

FREE Music Social Programs for Family Members with their Loved Ones who are living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. Current locations: Warwick, Middletown and Monticello, NY Call the Alzheimer’s Association for info: 1.800.272.3900

School year monthly Early Childhood Programs for Residents of Greenwood Lake Public Library as well as Albert Wisner Public Library. Call each individual library for more information.
