Rehab Associates joined APTA Virginia, a chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association, and other physical therapy advocates for Lobby Day 2026 at the Virginia General Assembly in Richmond on January 21st! Throughout the day, PTs, PTAs, and students were able to engage with legislators to discuss key issues affecting the physical therapy profession. We were able to come together to present our legislative priorities and to advocate for our patients and for the advancement of physical therapy.

Happy Birthday to Dr. Catherine Beuerle Martin! A physical therapist in our Clifton clinic, Catherine is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She is also Functional Movement Screen Certified and is a Golf Certified Specialist. Dr. Martin enjoys treating patients of all ages, but she has a special interest in treating knees, hips, and shoulders; CrossFit or fitness athletes; post-surgical conditions; and utilizing aquatic therapy. Catherine also supports our team as a Regional Clinical Lead.

Come join the festivities! The Riverside Runners Jingle Bell Fun Run is this Saturday, December 20th! To support the event, we'll have our free Inury Clinic from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Riverside Runners, 2480 Rivermont Avenue in Lynchburg. Dr. Jacqui Gooden and Dr. Alaina French will be there to screen for injuries and answer questions. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. Doorprizes and hot chocolate just add to the holiday cheer!
