At Manna House, our mission is to provide men struggling with addiction a safe place for full recovery and restoration to an abundant life of sobriety in Christ. Our vision is to see these men set free from addictions, set apart in their unique identity in Christ, and set on fire to serve Him lifelong. Our purpose is to offer a Christ-centered home where they can rebuild their lives through faith, support, biblical principles, the 12 Steps, and licensed counseling in a peaceful residential setting.
Founded in 1997 in Brookshire, Texas, we’ve supported over 900 men through our New Start Program—a year-long residential recovery journey staffed by those who’ve walked the path themselves. Residents gain life skills, spiritual guidance, and real-world experience through social enterprises like The Awakening Coffee Shop, landscaping services, and our Manna Bikes shop. These ventures not only build confidence and independence but also generate revenue to sustain our ministry, helping men heal, restore families, and strengthen communities.
