Having support from leaders who have been where you are and didn’t quit means so much! We are visiting Wings of Life in Mobile, Alabama this week and we are gleaning from Pastor Brandon and Cary but also enjoying the white sand of Dauphin Island.

This relationship means so much to us and we are looking forward to growing through this connection.

About last night…

There really are no words. The last two years have not been easy — to be honest, it has been the hardest two years of ministry in many ways. Financially, spiritually, mentally and emotionally we’ve been drained but God. Is. Faithful.

He has restored our souls and been our Provider. His grace has made us strong and His power continues to work when we are weak.

We want to thank everyone who came out to support the ministry last night. We achieved about 30% of our goal BUT we know the relationships that are being forged and rekindled are priceless.

Please pray with us that we can raise the funds needed to sustain. That work will continue — so if you’re led and want to make a difference, the link is below.

But today, we celebrate 🙌🏽 and we THANK HIM knowing we are smack dab in the middle of His will. Do what only You can do Lord!

My name is Christina Boaz. I am the founder and the director of The Boaz House. Most of my life I have struggled with addiction in some form or another. From an early age I struggled with self esteem issues, never feeling like I fit in. That along with a strained relationship with my father I started looking for acceptance in men, always needing to be in a relationship. This eventually led me to using drugs. I was a “functioning” addict for many years. My addiction included everything from pain pills, m**h and finally he**in. After struggling in my addiction for over 16 years, I reached out for help. I went to a faith based rehab in 2016 and learned that Jesus Christ loved me right where I was, no matter what I had done and I could find rest in His truth. I have been walking in freedom from my addiction for almost 4 years. Now all I want to do is share with others what He has done for me. I want to show them He can do it for them as well.
