All of the girls are fly masked up for the summer 💜 for educational purposes, the horses can see perfectly fine out of their fly masks. This is to help prevent infections which can cause a horse to lose their eye from summer flies. The fly masks are also UV protection from the sun to help protect their eyes and skin from cancer forming and sunburns. Calypso has a halter on because she is difficult to halter out in the field, she is MUCH better now that we handle her daily so pretty soon we’ll remove that.

Ariel, now renamed Calypso is our newest adoptee, this year we have unfortunately not been able to do equine therapy due to an injury I sustained in the beginning of the year. After having a major operation, I am finally slowly returning to incorporating horses into my practice. We are grateful for all of our clients, friends, and family that have supported us and helped us to support our rescues ♥️

New addition to the ranch when finished will provide a separate office space for clients, an air conditioned/heated building to avoid some the weather related issues we experience out here, a restroom for clients… and a cool new she shed for your therapist!
