Today, we are proud to recognize and celebrate Gloria Hampton as our SLP of the Year! 🥳👏

This year, Gloria also celebrated an incredible 20 years at Northbrook, a milestone that reflects her unwavering dedication to her profession, her patients, and her team.

Gloria’s commitment to lifelong learning is evident as she attends the ASHA Convention annually, ensuring her clinical skills remain sharp, innovative, and aligned with best practice. Her drive to optimize patient outcomes is matched only by her ability to lead with clarity, compassion, and purpose. Gloria is not only a steadfast advocate for those she serves, but also a respected clinician who sets, and lives, the expectation of excellence.

In her nomination, her RDO, Sol Selvam, shared:

“I would like to nominate Gloria for the SLP of the Year award. Gloria exemplifies excellence in both her roles as an SLP and DOR. Despite operating with limited FT staffing, she consistently provides high-quality SLP services while managing her DOR responsibilities with remarkable efficiency. She delivers exceptional metrics consistently across the board. Gloria regularly puts in extra hours to ensure that all clinical and administrative tasks are completed thoroughly and on time. What truly sets Gloria apart is her ability to foster strong communication and collaboration with facility staff. She goes above and beyond to ensure seamless coordination, which greatly enhances the quality of care provided.”
