Animal Health Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, preventive care and wellness to pets in Hernando, Citrus and Pasco counties. Our facility includes a pharmacy, in house labratory, surgical suite, state of the art x-ray and ultrasound, dental xray and cleaning station, multiple exam rooms, treatment area, and 2 closely supervised hospitalization wards

Kemm joined us in January 2022, turning her lifelong love for animals into a meaningful career. With a passion for veterinary medicine that began in early childhood, she brings genuine compassion and dedication to every patient she cares for. At home, Kemm shares her heart with two dogs, two cats and in her free time she enjoys gardening and making memories with family and friends.

We are back to highlighting our amazing team members. This week's highlight is Leslie who rejoined our team in July 2021 after several years of successfully owning her own business. She works part-time with our front desk team, where she plays key role in assisting clients with scheduling and checkin in and out for appointments. Her experience, professionalism and friendly demeanor help ensure our clients feel welcomed and well taken care of from the moment they arrive. We're so happy to have Leslie as part of our team!

This week we are highlighting Steven who has been with us since August 2019. There is no task he can’t do from being our go-to-person for therapeutic laser, patient care, assisting in surgery and being the dependable muscle of the team. Most importantly, he is the caring and patient voice you speak to give a progress report on a sick pet. We rely on him for his humor and to deliver a fun fact or music trivia when we need it.

This week we are highlighting Reign, who joined the clinic in July 2019, fresh out of high school and already showing incredible determination and curiosity. From day one, she impressed us with her strong work ethic and her eagerness to learn everything she could. Over the years, we've watched her grow into a talented veterinary assistant who handles everything from exotic pets to our more familiar dogs and cats with confidence and care. Many pet owners now ask for her by name, a true testament to the trust and comfort she brings to every visit.
