Our Story

Where does one begin to develop a sense of awareness of who they are? Well, I believe we must know where we are to know where we are going. We live in a culture where influence is pictured as having all these fancy things. A social media where every snap shot is perfect. We are left comparing and competing rather than loving and giving.

It was not that having all these fancy cars and things was wrong. It was just that as a young adult my priorities were different from where they are today as a Believer, Husband, and Father. Success started to look different according to the priority that was attached to it. I started to attach my identity and who I was to how I defined success. In the process I lost myself in my work. All I was working for was to pay the bills and to keep a roof over our heads. Having money became meaningless because all it brought was more stress and anxiety. You know how the saying goes, more money more problems?

Today things are different. Today I crave self development. Constantly seeking new things to discover, learn, and implement. I know longer attach my money or things to success. What is most important is to make the best out of the time I was given. I have learned a lot about myself through the years but without my faith none of what I have achieved would be possible.

Know that's it is ok to leave old things behind that are no longer serving you today. As you experience life you will encounter a wide array of things. Don't let things pass you by because you think and believe this is all you know and all you can do. What you experience and gain on the other side of fear is priceless.
