Buzz-worthy award for the month of August 2025

Kelly Storman.

Kelly has been an employee at Brooksville Healthcare Center for 3.5 years. Kelly is a C.N.A. on our long-term care unit (station 3).

Kelly moved to Florida 4 years ago to take care of her parents. Taking care of her parents at home and the residents at Brooksville Healthcare Center takes a lot of heart and Kelly does it with a heart filled with love and cheerfulness.

Kelly is very proud of her family. She has 3 children. Jack ,24, and twins Luke and Hannah, 23. The joy of her life is her grandson who will be 4 in November. Both Jack and Luke serve in the United States Army. Luke is currently on deployment overseas. In her spare time Kelly really enjoys running, spending time at the beach, going for walks and swimming. Quite the athlete.

When speaking with residents they have a high regard for Kelly. In their words “She makes them feel like a priority”. She even takes time to sing to some of them! She has fun with them and helps to keep their spirits up. She is a hard worker. Even when she is tired, she is sure to make them feel important. During the day Kelly can be seen assisting residents on the unit she’s assigned to, whether they are on her assignment or not. She encourages residents to participate in activities and assists them to the activities. She really enjoys helping the residents.

We need more people like Kelly in the healthcare field! Brooksville Healthcare Center is blessed to have Kelly with her strong work ethic, compassion and dedication to the residents she takes care of!
