Another successful workday on The H***h and Time2Shine. My friend Moshine was happy to spend the day with us. Bruce worked up an appetite and James satisfied it with a cheesesteak sub. If you ride and enjoy riding Croom then be sure to donate to Swamp for the volunteers of the Brooksville Mafia so we can keep Bruce fed and keep our equipment maintained.

Workday at "Lefty Loser". I am sure that someone will complain that we are "dumbing down" an expert trail. The Mafia rides these trails twice weekly, with lights during winter. The exposed roots due to water erosion had gotten to a level that myself and other "less than expert" riders stopped riding this trail -the risk to reward. Yes, I cut out the root that made me endo, and yes, I carried buckets of clay to fill between roots that made the climbs difficult. Yes, it has made the trail faster, but it has not changed the character and exhilaration of riding along side of the pit. Give us a "thumbs up" for making this trail appeal to more riders!

The Mafia Christmas party was last night and very well attended. We started the ride off with a belly full of Kim Hawkins rum and brandy eggnog. We rode with some difficulty after consuming this eggnog to decorate our tree. We then rode back to consume more drinks and eats. A good time was had by all.

This Sunday December 14th, we kick off our RED Sundays, second Sunday of each month we will host a RED (ride, eat and drink), Croom Tucker Hill start time 0900.
This is a ride with guides for different levels of riding to make sure you get back without getting lost then we all meet to eat and drink, bring a food item to share. We had good rain so the trails should be in great condition.
My forest friends will be happy to see you!!

Croom is now offering remote e-bike charging. This is clean off the grid long lasting energy produced and designed exclusively for e-bikes. All major credit cards are accepted.
Since Swamp membership and donations are low this will be another way for us to purchase what we need to maintain the trails.
