Our TGH Women’s Institute has been ranked #5 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report for 2025–26, and #1 in Florida for the fourth consecutive year! 🎉

To celebrate this incredible milestone, leadership from across the Women’s Institute visited the units and departments who make this recognition possible, including L&D, antepartum and postpartum, Mom/Baby, 7C, 4K and 3F pre/post-op, OB sonography, Genesis, and more. A cart full of candy and tons of gratitude were shared with the team members who bring this level of excellence to every patient, every day.

As the region’s only academic health system, powered by our partnership with USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, TGH was also ranked among the Top 50 hospitals in the nation in six medical specialties and placed in the top 10% nationally in five more. Laura DeBerardinis, Senior Nurse Manager at TGH, represented our organization on the national stage, showcasing how our Al-driven partnership with Palantir Technologies, anchored in the Tampa Medical & Research District, is transforming patient care through smarter data, stronger outcomes, and more lives saved. Her daughter was also in attendance, making the moment even more special.

The summit brought together national leaders and industry experts to explore the future of artificial intelligence. Notable speakers included President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, and Palantir CTO Shyam Sankar, marking the launch of the White House's new Al Action Plan and highlighting the growing role of Al in health care, infrastructure and national security.
