Sprouted in Strength Hello! I’m Olivia Fledderman, a registered dietitian nutritionist in Southeast Indiana.

Through Sprouted in Strength LLC, I want to help you to achieve a stronger sense of overall wellness. I recognize that individual wellness is not determined solely by your physical health, but that it is also largely impacted by several other factors. Therefore, we strive to not only focus on nutrition and exercise but also on other sectors of wellness that can be directly interconnected with nutrition and exercise. Our mission at Sprouted in Strength is to provide you with the opportunity to learn about steps you can take to promote your overall wellness in an atmosphere that supports and encourages you to implement positive changes into your daily routine with hopes of eliciting a healthier version of yourself and our communities alike.

It's never too late to start again!💪

Running has been a regular part of my exercise routine for at least 10 years. But, the last several months I've hit minimal miles (still exercising, just not as much running). Today, while walking up a steep incline, I felt more winded than I want to admit and definitely more than I'm willing to accept...

Soooo... tonight I quit making excuses, hit the pavement, and found what I will call my new home route for now.💚

It's CORN!!🌽

Last week, we celebrated Food Day at Batesville Community School Corporation (Batesville Primary School and Batesville Intermediate School).

The students "Fueled up on Indiana Corn."🚀🌽🚀

They tried a sample of a 🌽Corn🌽and 🍅Cherry Tomato🍅 Salad, and they had a FULL serving of Souder Farms Sweet Corn (Rushville, Indiana) served on their tray!!😋

This program was made possible through a Southeastern Indiana Remc Operation Round Up grant, which was awarded to the Food and Growers Association.

The students even watched a video created by FarmTable Meat Co., which taught them about the 4 different types of corn grown in Indiana.

💥 Fiber Powerhouse!! 💥

Did you know that most Americans get less than half of the recommended daily fiber amount?!😳

I took took these steel cuts oats from 4 grams of fiber per serving to 10 grams of fiber per serving by adding chia seeds, h**p seeds, and blueberries!🫐

Such simple additions that pack a huge punch!!👊 I'm now over a 1/3 of the way to my fiber goal for the day.
