Inside this sacred space insight arises, peace settles in, and healing begins.

Each time I enter, I do so with the intention of creating an atmosphere that is welcoming to those who will be joining me that day. One that is warm, steady, and safe.

When you arrive, you’ll be met exactly where you are in that moment, whether it’s joy or tears on your face, and encouraged to be yourself and go at your own pace as I walk beside you with compassion and grace no matter what you face during your session in this space.

Taking time for yourself, time to listen and be heard, to be held and understood, and to ask for and receive the healing you need is not always easy.

Here, with me, at Grace it can be.

If you’re ready to receive the insight or healing you need, see the links in my bio or you can reach me directly ~ bridget@heartlighthealing.me.

Grow at your own pace! This journey is yours. No one can tell you how to get “there” or you’d be “there” already.

Take your time. Listen to your heart and your energy. Look to nature for inspiration. Surround yourself with people that see you for who you are and support you unconditionally. Show yourself compassion on the hard days. And most importantly…

Keep Growing!

Transitions are hard. They’re full of emotions, shifting plans, letting go, new beginnings, oh my!! All of it makes you want to scream.

You might not want to actually scream, but don’t hold it in!! That leads to more frustration and agita. Do this qigong practice instead. You don’t even have to know why you want to scream, your body will take care of it.

The sound you make is a healing sound. Healing sounds are another way to move emotions and toxic energy out of the body.

The movement compresses your abdomen as you exhale, wringing out grief from your lungs, anxiety from your heart, worry from your spleen, and anger from your liver covering all of your emotional ‘bases’.

It also helps you get out of your head, calm your nervous system, and process your thoughts.

Whether it’s the transition from winter to spring or something else that’s making you want to scream, don’t hold it in! Take care of yourself and your feelings. Use this practice or another healthy way to move the energy out so you can get back to being you!

Your fascia is a wondrous tissue matrix that holds you up, helps transmit force, energy, and fluid throughout your body, and stores your experiences and emotions.

When it gets stuck, all of this gets rerouted or becomes stagnant, leading to pain, immobility, dis-ease & disease, emotional overwhelm, thought rumination, anxiety, and other things.

Listening to these messages your body is sending you so you can hear what it’s trying to tell you and get the help you need is essential to your healing.

Gentle techniques like myofascial and somatoemotional release, energy work, and qigong are lovely ways to work with your fascia, restore balance within your body, and get you back to being you!

I offer all of this and more. If you’re hearing these messages and looking for help, I’m here for you. Links to a free discovery call, 1:1 sessions, qigong classes, and my email are in my bio.

You don’t always have to be “doing” or “productive”. It’s in those moments where you take a break, take care of yourself, or simply lay the “task” down, that creativity, energy, and focus returns.

It’s okay to lay “it” down.

It’s okay to do something else for a while.

It’s okay to take care of you.

Taking care of you doesn’t have to be complicated.

It’s often something simple that gets you back to being you.

This gentle, rhythmic movement helps you release the extra energy that’s in your system, boost endorphins or happy hormones, and turn on your rest and digest state, calming your nervous system.

If moving your whole body is too much, you can just move your upper body or your head side to side.

You can also do this in a chair or as a smaller weight shift in the grocery line or anywhere else where you feel your emotions and energy start to rise.

I’d recommend trying and practicing it when you’re calm to get a sense of what it feels like in your body and create a file within your system that your body can automatically pull from when you need it.

Keep taking care of you.

Listening to your body might be the most challenging thing you do, especially when it’s saying no to something you want to do, stirring up anger, frustration, guilt, shame, tears or other emotions - thoughts - stories.

It also is the most important thing you do.

Your body knows what’s best for you, not those stories in your mind or other people’s opinion of you.

Let the emotions come and go, work through them as best you can. Ask the thoughts and stories if they’re true or serving a purpose for you. If the answer is no, bless and release them too.

Be where you are, to the best of your ability. Know that it’s a starting place, not an ending.

Keep listening and take care of you.

See you soon♥️
