Psych Choices of the Delaware Valley is a psychiatric and counseling practice in Broomall, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2001 and rebranded in 2018, Psych Choices has over 15 clinical staff members comprised of master's and doctoral level providers. All patients requesting medication will first be assigned to a psychotherapist for an initial evaluation. In an ever transforming environment of technology and evolving internet age, our Psych Choices brand encourages individuals to not short change their mental health by placing their care in the hands of executives who simply see people as financial statistics.

At Psych Choices we champion and highlight mental health practices owned and operated by real providers who are personally handpicking and hiring excellent clinicians clients can trust.

SOO...Thank you to those practice owners/providers who are actually doing the clinical leg work and not solely relying on technology and cash cow companies to dictate the mental health needs of the people.

Our Story

Psych Choices of the Delaware Valley is a psychiatric and counseling practice in Broomall, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2001 by Noah D. Freedman, M.D. and Emily Kahn-Freedman, L.M.F.T., Psych Choices is now owned and managed by Damani Irby, LPC. We have an array of clinical providers including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and over 15 masters level and doctoral level psychotherapists. We are continuing to grow and expand our practice and our offerings--we will soon be located in the Broomall area. Our practice is holistic in that we believe healing requires more than just adjusting brain chemistry, and engaging in talk therapy. While brain chemistry and talking are important elements of healing, equally important are the body, the emotions, the spirit, and our relationships with others as well as ourselves.

Treatment at Psych Choices can consist of individual, couples/family, group therapy, medication management or a combination of either. We have providers specializing in various mental health challenges from mood/anxiety disorders to childhood issues such as ADHD or ODD. We accept most commercial health insurance plans and Medicare. Please see our main website at www.PsychChoices.com for more information about our treatment team and areas of focus. You may make an appointment by clicking on “Contact” then “Request an Appointment New Patients." We can be reached at 610-626-8085. Please dial “0″ to reach a receptionist, or listen for the menu options. New patients may leave a message on Extension 213.
