Today is World Kidney Day πŸ’š

A year and a half ago, I received the incredible gift of a kidney transplant something that once felt almost impossible as someone who was 99.9% sensitized. Before that, I lived in the world of dialysis, waiting, and hoping. But somehow the right kidney found its way to me, Bentley!

Because of one selfless donor, I’m here living a life I once wasn’t sure I’d get back.♻️

That’s why this day means so much to me.

On April 26, my family and friends will be walking in the Donor Dash as Bentley Brigade, celebrating the gift of life and honoring the heroes who make second chances possible.

We can do hard things!!!

Tomorrow I’m leading a seminar and yep, I’m nervous!😬

But I’ve learned something about fear, it means what I’m fearing matters!

I’ve had this feeling before:
♻️before my kidney transplant surgery
πŸ’šbefore and during recovery
β˜€οΈbefore stepping into a life I wasn’t even sure I’d get to have.

Fear of the unknown.

I will say this…
I didn’t come this far to play small.πŸ’ͺ

So tomorrow I’ll be showing up with confidence, passion, and purpose.

Not because I’m fearless.
But because I know what’s waiting on the other side of hard.πŸ’«

Maybe that’s your sign to step toward the fear and do it anyway!

Bentley Brigade showed up strong at the Donor Dash and I’m counting down to April 26, 2026 already!

This walk means everything to me because organ donation saved my life. Before my transplant, I was 99.9% sensitized, meaning I had only a 0.1% chance of ever finding a match. The odds were stacked against me… until my miracle arrived.

That miracle is my kidney Bentley.

Now I walk so others can experience the same second chance at life.
