✨ BIG NEWS from Soul Dogs, Inc.! 🐾

We’re so excited to officially launch our NEW group therapy programs starting mid-May, and we’d love your help spreading the word! 💛

We’ll be offering a variety of engaging, person-centered groups designed to build confidence, connection, and real-life skills in a supportive environment. As referrals come in, we’ll finalize days/times to best meet participants’ needs, making these groups flexible and accessible!

🧠 Group offerings include:
• Art-Based Therapy
• Performance (Theater) Therapy
• Intro to Grief Therapy
• Dating & Relationship Skills (age-specific groups)
• Men’s & Women’s Support Groups

🐶 What makes us different?
Our programs use a person-centered + animal-assisted approach, creating a space where individuals can feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow.

💳 Billing:
We are able to bill applicable HCBS waivers, making these services accessible for many individuals and families.

We’ve got a BIG personality coming your way… meet Arcanine!!

Arcanine (A429544) is a 5-year-old neutered male, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier who is basically the definition of FUN. This guy is sweet, playful, and always down for his next adventure. Whether it’s zoomies, playtime, or just being your sidekick, Arcanine is ready to go all in 💥

He would thrive with an active family who can match his energy and keep the good times rolling. With other dogs, he’s got a very enthusiastic play style , so slow introductions will help set him up for success.

If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you laughing, moving, and feeling loved every single day, Arcanine might just be your guy 🧡

🐾 Dog of the Week 🐾

Soul Dogs Inc. is proud to partner with Denver Animal Shelter to help dogs build skills, confidence, and readiness for their forever homes. Through this partnership, our apprentices work hands-on with shelter dogs to support their training and increase adoptability, and we love getting to share them with you each week 💛

✨ Meet Zumba! ✨

Zumba (A429367) is a 5-year-old neutered male, tan American Pit Bull Terrier. He may be a little shy at first, but give him some time and you’ll quickly see his playful side come out. Once he feels safe, Zumba loves to break into happy zoomies and show off his fun, goofy personality 🐕💨

He has previously lived with another dog, though he can feel a bit nervous meeting new dogs in the shelter environment, so slow, thoughtful introductions will help set him up for success. With patience, consistency, and a loving home, Zumba has so much potential to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion.

Through therapy, vocational services, and dog training, we walk alongside individuals as they grow, connect, and build meaningful skills, with the support of animals who are often part of that journey.

This work is intentional, person-centered, and rooted in creating spaces where people feel supported and valued.

Did you know Soul Dogs Inc. offers therapy services? 🐾💛

At Soul Dogs Inc., social work is at the heart of everything we do. This month, we’re celebrating the compassion, advocacy, and connection that guide our work every day. 🤝

Our Behavioral Services offer individual and group therapy using a variety of trauma-informed modalities tailored to each person’s unique needs. We believe therapy is more than behavior change -it’s about understanding the “why,” supporting emotional expression, and creating space for healing and growth from the inside out. 🌱

Each of our therapists brings their own unique strengths and approach, allowing us to meet people where they are and create meaningful, individualized support. Through ongoing connection and collaboration, we focus on building independence, strengthening relationships, and supporting overall well-being.

At Soul Dogs, our clients are dog trainers, artists, animal lovers, hard workers, and leaders in our community. Every day they show up with passion, dedication, and the drive to keep growing. Puppy Play group might look like fun and games but its important socialization!

In the first 3 months of their life puppies experience a socialization period that will shape the rest of their lives. To set your puppy up for success you want to expose them to as many experiences and places as possible with LOTS of positive reinforcement!

Once your puppy has been vaccinated puppy socialization classes can be very enriching and help your puppy learn to play appropriately with other dogs.

Soul Dogs Inc Dog Training Academy provides just such an environment with lots of enriching toys and reinforcement from our apprentice dog trainers.
