Forever reminding ourselves that this is Utah... and not MARS! Our winter field area is out of this world. There are spots in the desert that give the vibes of being on another planet. We're grateful that we get to explore around the Swell 🔥🌞

This canyon marks the drop into one of the most beautiful (IMO) sections of our field area! The basement... Buckhorn Wash... The Little Grand Canyon... It is full of history, good views, and some pretty unreal campsites! Rumor has it Butch Cassidy used to hang out down there. Recently one of our groups had the experience of rappelling into the canyon to mark the transition to the new field area, a client even had the opportunity to lead the hike! These are the moments that people remember from their time at Elements! 🔥❤

Alumni student highlight✨

The Alpine Academy team could not be more proud. We are always cheering you on Audrey Miller!

“As I stood on the beach in my regalia, I was reminded of everything it took to get here.

In 2025, I earned my doctorate on paper, knowing I still had a year of internship ahead before I could practice independently. Today, in 2026, I officially practice as Dr. Miller, DNP, NP, BSN, a moment that feels both surreal and deeply humbling.

This accomplishment is not mine alone.

There are a few very special people who entered my life when I was just a teenager and forever changed the woman I would become. I am endlessly grateful for my time at Alpine Academy. They believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. They pushed me to be better and do better every single day. Even after graduation, they were always just a phone call away on the hard days and the loudest voices celebrating my wins.

From the teachers who sat with me while I cried over homework, to the house staff who challenged me in ways I will always be thankful for, this is the reason I went into nursing in the first place. It is why I now practice as a DNP in psychiatric medicine. One day, I hope to leave the kind of impact on others that they left on me and continue to leave every day on that campus.

The year 2025 pushed me mentally and physically, leaving me fighting for my life twice in the ICU, the most recent time only two weeks ago. There were so many moments I wanted to give up. But I kept going, not only because of what they taught me, but because they never stopped believing in me.

I came to them as a broken 13 year old girl who never imagined life could be this beautiful or that she could accomplish all of her dreams.

Today, I close a 10 year academic race. Ten years of grinding, studying, and missing birthdays and holidays so that I could one day call myself Dr. Miller, DNP, NP, BSN. So that I could look a 13 year old in the eyes and say, I believe in you, because someone once said that to me.

And now, here I am, living the most beautiful life I could have ever imagined.

2026 is the year I get to live again. To travel, to breathe, and to step into a new role in the months ahead.

So once again, thank you for always believing in me. 🤍”
