Dear Friends, Patients and Colleagues,
After much thought and careful consideration, we are writing to share that we will be retiring from our chiropractic and medically integrated practice as of December 11, 2025. It has been a true
privilege to serve and work alongside each and every one of you over the last 29 years. We are deeply grateful for the trust you've placed in us and the opportunity to help improve your health and well-being.
When we first started our journey from Dallas to Denver in 1996 immediately after graduation from Parker College of Chiropractic, we never could have imagined the incredible experiences and
relationships that would shape our careers. From helping patients regain health and help rid their pain to learning from our colleagues, having you as part of our wellness family has been fulfilling to
say the least.
While we are excited for the next phase of our lives, we will always look back on our time in practice with great fondness. We will be forever grateful for the friendships, the personal stories, the wonderful staff members, and the success
stories that made this journey so meaningful.
We both realize that change is hard, but we are beyond excited to introduce Dr. Jared Bemis as your new doctor at Summit Medical Care Center
to ensure that your care continues without
interruption. Maggie Galloway, Practice Manager, Alicia Von Rivenburgh, Nurse Practitioner, and our amazing assistants Verenice, Michelle and Lesly are all staying at 54 Garden Center along with Dr. Jared to help you continue your path of wellness!
We want to thank each of you for your support, trust, and commitment to your health. While this marks the end of one chapter, we look forward to staying connected and continuing to cheer you on
in your health journey. We are excited for what the future holds, both for us and for all of you.

Some days are easier than others, and some days you feel kicked in the teeth. For me, I can only wallow so long. I must CHOOSE Happiness. CHOOSE Love. Trust that this too shall pass, and have an attitude of GRATITUDE amidst defeat and worry. Thankful for so much, namely witnessing so many of my clients claim victory on their health journey, overcoming their struggles with weight, illness, depression and fatigue. We got this! Choose happy! Choose strength 💯🙌🏼🌟💗🙏🏻

It’s been cold ❄️ and snow isn’t melting any time soon… As we round out this first month of the year, some of us may have had really great intentions of starting a resolution, but realize we haven’t really begun to act on it yet. 🤔😱 I know the feeling! So for me, when I’m overwhelmed or even a little “meh”, I pause in GRATITUDE. Each morning in my meditation I list at least 10 things I’m grateful for. Most days, at least 5/10 are the same. Today, I wrote “light”. Just sharing this for those stuck in the dark, the cold, the barrenness of winter right now. There’s always light- even if just above the clouds on those dreary days. Be well and shine your light today! I’m going to try 🌟🌤️🙌🏼

Sharing for all my fellow “worriers”… Great reminder for me as I’ve been “overthinking” a lot lately. Whether it’s emotional, mental or physical stress you may be wrestling with, try to remember this concept—and practice self care as much as possible. Stay tuned for my upcoming “Stress Solutions” care kit including grounding exercises, specific stress support supplements and more! I’m creating an in-person seminar as well as a virtual option. Something for everyone as “the struggle is real” for a lot of us! Love, light and life friends 💕☀️🪷

We all have days where we aren’t sure if we are moving the right direction, or moving at all. Some days are just defeating. Some overwhelming. Don’t forget you can end up achieving your goals and succeeding even if the journey takes you on some detours or bumpy roads.

2/23/1997 Brad officially opened the doors upstairs in a leased space in the Wells Fargo bank building across the parking lot from where our clinic is today. 25 years!!! It was Summit Chiropractic Care Center then. I was working in Advertising still and we rented a small home we could barely pay for. We had just left Dallas five months before that - we knew two couples here and were clueless what our future held here in Colorado. But we had lots of “FCB” (what Brad always said - meaning Faith, Confidence, Belief). Fast forward to 2001, he bought 54 Garden Center- the whole building where we are today. Fast forward 2002 I joined the staff helping out and in 2005 went back to school for Nutrition Therapy. Many associates, dedicated staff members, amazing equipment, spinal screenings at malls and fairs, TV and radio commercials, not-so-great ideas, roller coaster rides with insurance laws, name changes, miracles, stressful months, and thousands of patients later… we are still a team. Summit Medical Care Center is 25 years old! As I reflect on the last quarter of a century watching Brad’s dedication to his patients and work and purpose, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude and awe. Thanks to all our patients and staff: witnessing miracles of healing and helping has made us who we are today. I wouldn’t change a thing.
