The Colorado Funeral Directors Association is aware of the recent suspension of Davis Mortuary in Pueblo following troubling inspection findings.

The alleged actions described are a deeply troubling breach of professional trust.

This case is far outside the standard of care upheld by Colorado funeral homes. Families place enormous trust in those who care for their loved ones, and that trust must never be compromised.

We stand with families, support the state’s investigation, and reaffirm our commitment to dignity, compassion, and ethical care.
