The new moon is a phase when the sun and the moon align and therefore you can not see the moon and the sky is darker. This is a good time to let go of things, set intentions for new projects, self-reflection, course correcting, and goal setting. Doing this with intention as a group gives you an added boost.
What is this month about?
At this new moon, we will release the feelings of being unable to stop moving, having to do it alone, diluting yourself, and hiding yourself. We will bring in the ability to rest, to receive help from others, to go deep with yourself and others, and to be seen.
Who is your host?
Join Leanne Holitza for a non-faith-based ritual in release and new beginnings. This group is designed to give you the opportunity to come together to enhance your intentions, have some fun and find new ways to conduct manifesting rituals to enhance your life.
Who else attends?
The group is varied and often includes both newbies and regulars. We have both in-person and virtual attendees. By just being curious, you will fit right in!
What do we do in the ritual?
We will bring in the elements of fire, earth, air, and water while we set intentions around new, healthy beginnings regarding our influence and service to the world and ourselves.
Bring an empty jar and any other tools you like to use to participate in the ritual. At our New Moon ritual, we use jars to set our intentions because they act as sacred containers, both physical and energetic, for our dreams. Just as a jar holds what we place inside, it symbolically holds the energy, focus, and commitment we give to our intentions. Sealing your wishes inside a jar creates a tangible reminder of what you’re calling in, allowing your goals to “marinate” and grow in alignment with the moon’s cycle. Each time you see your jar, you’re reminded that your intentions are safe, nurtured, and in the process of manifesting.
