I recently came across a research article that stopped me in my tracks.
Less than 8% of NIH funding goes toward women’s health research.
That means fewer studies, fewer answers, and far too many women being told “everything looks normal” when they don’t feel normal at all.
Yes—there are experts pushing for change.
But real change in research takes years… sometimes decades.
And women are struggling right now.
So what do we do in the meantime?
We educate.
Because education is power.
It’s how women begin to understand what’s happening in their bodies.
It’s how they advocate for themselves.
And it’s how we start closing the gap—today, not 10 years from now.
That’s exactly why I’ve started hosting in-person education nights.
These are relaxed, judgment-free spaces where we talk about:
• Perimenopause & menopause
• What’s actually happening in your body
• Common symptoms (and what’s not “just aging”)
• Real options for support and treatment
