On this Brutally cold night, we have to be thankful for our brave men and women who drop everything they are doing to respond to someone’s call for help!

Sadly a local business caught fire tonight and it was a big loss but With the help of mutual aid, they was able to get it under control so THANK YOU to all the departments who came out to brave the elements and never get enough thanks!!

We also would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Dillions store for the donation of Coffee and Pizzas at a moments notice! We are thankful for all the support you give us in the community!

Thank you to all who joined us tonight for our taco dinner and auction! We had a fun time and really appreciated all the support we received!!

Thank you to the lovely people who donated desserts and items towards our dinner!

A special thank you to the family members that stepped in and helped us to make this event happen! Brian, Cheyanne, Justin, and Lindsay!

There will be members of the Auxiliary at the community center Friday May 31st from 9am-1pm for anyone to drop off any donations they still have! Thank you so much for all the generosity this community has shown! And we look forward to seeing you Saturday!

Good Afternoon!
We are very appreciative of all the donations we have received so far for our dinner and auction but we are still in need of some help!

If anyone would be willing to help us with donations toward our dinner,
We would appreciate gift cards to purchase items or if you have local farmers who could help us with ingredients… we also need dessert items!!

We would like to thank the community members that came today. We appreciate the questions you asked and all the gratitude you extended to our members. We know the sacrifices faced and dedication put forth by our firefighters and to have that acknowledged and appreciated means a lot.

Aside from the "thank yous" we received, I think I personally heard "wow!! It's a tight fit! There isn't much room to move around" the most. That sparked many questions regarding how we put our gear on, assemble for trainings/meetings and how we to get in and out of the trucks.

Thank you so much to the BVFD Auxiliary for providing refreshments and for being with us today. We greatly appreciate it and were glad to have you present.

Lastly, thank you to the members that give so much, especially your time. You answer the call at anytime day or night and give up nights and weekends for training. You chose to give up a Saturday to hold the open fire station today, showing your true dedication and willingness to serve our community. Thank you for ALL you do!
