This week, our residents rolled up their sleeves and made homemade tortillas… and let’s just say—YUM!!! 😋

From mixing the dough to cooking them up fresh, it was a fun and delicious activity that brought back wonderful memories and filled the room with amazing smells.

🍌💛 National Banana Day Fun at Brownfield Care Center! 💛🍌

We had a great time celebrating National Banana Day yesterday! And while banana splits are always a classic… we decided there’s something even better — banana pudding! 😋

Our residents enjoyed this sweet treat and all the smiles that came with it. It was a fun (and delicious) way to celebrate together!

We had a great time last week celebrating National Walking Day with our residents! Getting up and moving together made for a fun and refreshing activity.

Walking is such an important part of maintaining health, especially in a long-term care setting. It helps improve mobility, balance, circulation, and overall strength, while also boosting mood and encouraging social interaction. Even a short walk can make a big difference!

We love finding ways to keep our residents active, engaged, and feeling their best! 💚💙💚
