I saw a post a while back and it prompted me to post this today.

Here's some info...
My rates for Home Care are definitely less than the avg. (The ones who have reached out to me will definitely co sign) On top of that, I pay my caregivers MORE than what I make from that! Agencies charge MORE and pay their cargivers LESS.
My RATES ARE LOW BECAUSE I WANT HELP MORE PEOPLE!
People will find reasons to complain even when they KNOW your rates are less than the avg. Some will attempt to get FREE home care with sad stories. I work extremely hard by myself to keep this service available to the surrounding communities. I have no assistant/manager. I've put in plenty time with potential clients who have decided not to sign a service agreement. I have guided families in finding fund$ for home care only to use the funds elsewhere.

I say that to say this...
PAY ATTENTION to your small local businesses/hustlers who are TRULY HERE to SERVE and not break your bank. RESPECT their CRAFT and know that they enjoy what they do. Remember, they NEED & DESERVE the BUSINESS & RECOGNITION just like or EVEN MORE THAN the big corp name brand businesses!

It takes a special kind of person to be patient and disciplined enough to be a good caregiver. 💛 Caregiving, is a broad term that covers those who “provide care to people who need some degree of ongoing assistance with everyday tasks on a regular or daily basis”.
A caregiver can be someone hired to take care of a stranger, or an unpaid person taking care of a family member, friend, or loved one. Up to 81% of caregivers are female and they may spend as much as 50% more time giving care than males. In relationships where both partners work full time, women still spend a whopping 40% more time caregiving than their male partner.
