We went in for xrays yesterday before therapy and ……. 🥁 🥁
Shouting it from the rooftops today!!!

Dakota is done with arm procedures and doesn’t have to follow up in Florida for a whole year!!!!

We are so happy and can’t thank all the Doctors and staff enough!
God is so good to us!

He had an awesome night at VBS last night when he was done and was so excited when the doctor said his arms looked great he even kissed Caitlyn 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️

Praising the Lord this morning for a restful night, minimal pain and allowing us to be able to come to do these surgerie...

This is going to open so many doors for him to be able to function in every day life in ways we all take for granted! ❤️❤️❤️

Kota man had his follow up X-rays today after therapy!

Look at the first pic side by side bone growth! ❤️❤️

Pray with me that his bone growth is enough for us to go ahead with fixator removal June 24

He unfortunately caught a virus that had canceled all our May procedures so June is our next option ❤️❤️

We are so thankful to A Kid Again - Central Carolinas Chapter for giving Dakota and our family a wonderful break!
Keep praying for Kota man!
He’s been struggling with sickness off and on and we need him well!

He has several big surgeries coming up!
May 14th - Blood Exchange
May 27th - surgery at UNC
June 16th - Blood Exchange
June 24th - Surgery to Remove Fixators

Then hopefully a good rest period! ❤️❤️❤️

Therapy for OT and follow up X-rays today for Kota man! Waiting to hear reports from surgeons in Florida but my guess is fixators are staying on another 4 weeks 😭😭❤️❤️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
Although we are ready to be done with these things I’m thankful we have the opportunity to do this surgery for Kota!

Send some prayers up for Kota! He’s dealing with a viral infection that is causing lung problems ❤️
He’s a trooper but feeling pretty rough!
They did IV antibiotics today at UNC so praying that helps soon!
He loves looking at his xrays now and asks the nurses to explain everything ❤️
One thing that always makes him smile are the family restrooms with mommy and me toilet and sinks 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️

Kota fell last week and in the midst of the scare I completely forgot to post update X-rays!
Fall gave us a tiny set back but hopefully still on route to getting these fixators off before June 24 🙏
Next X-rays are scheduled April 14th!
Pray for him bc he is ready!! ❤️❤️

Found some more bladder issues we have to follow up on but did get good news that his arms are healing super fast! Did comparison X-rays of right and left
X-rays on left side of each photo are from 2-28 and right X-rays today! Almost completely healed on the left! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🦴 🦴 🦴
