Today was my monthly zolodex shot day. (Not fun but not horrible either.)

Captured a couple pics today mostly for my own memories.

The needle injects a small pellet about the size of a piece of rice under the skin.

It's usually given in the "fleshy" part of the belly but I prefer on the back of my arm.

I take a daily anastrozle pill and will for years. I try not to forget but sometimes I cant remember if I took it? 🤔

All in all- thankful for overcoming, having trusted doctors, my amazing family, experincing the healing process, and knowing its safe to trust my God every single day.

Teresa had a great post-op appointment this morning. She is recovering well. Her body is maintaining a lot of swelling, bruises and tenderness but moving in the right direction. No complications thus far! Thank you Jesus.

Long time no post! Teresa had hopefully her final surgery this morning to repair some areas that did not turn out the way we wanted from the previous surgery. They repaired and revised her abdominal and additonal areas - all went very well.

We are about to head home! Thank the Lord and our great church family for praying with and for her.

Still hits different when I see my name with the sub title "breast cancer fighter."

This fight will probably last my lifetime in some way. Every round - I'll come out on top.

It's a Nike sweatshirt and cabin socks kind of day.

Worked from my home office, lots of meetings, responded to emails and chats, worked deliverables, and prepped for tomorrow.

Chat with mom on the phone.

Amazon order - ✔️

Texted with my SIL.

Quick and random convos with Tim, Ellie, and Evan through out the day.

Changed fish tank water.

Frozen pizza for dinner.

🥱 Just another ordinary day.

Then I remembered, I Rang that bell one year ago today.

I can't explain the experience of that bell!

That bell makes my "ordinary" days "extraordinary" days.

I'm blessed with a wonderful family, peace in my mind, and the ability to experience many more "ordinary" days that actually make my life extraordinary. 💗

But to me they are more than ordinary. Those moments and people are more valuable than anything money can buy.
