Congratulations to our February Patient of the Month, Chuck Lambert! 👏

After undergoing a coronary artery bypass graft earlier this month, Chuck chose Community Rehabilitation Hospital West for his recovery journey. When he first arrived, he required assistance with walking, had limited endurance, and experienced balance challenges.

Through hard work and determination — along with the support of our dedicated therapy team — Chuck focused on building his endurance, safely navigating stairs, improving his balance, and regaining independence with everyday tasks.

Today, Chuck is fully independent with his mobility and feeling confident as he prepares to return home!

Melody came to our rehab hospital following surgery for bioprosthetic aortic valve stenosis, requiring an aortic valve and root replacement. When she first arrived, she needed maximum assistance with walking and daily self-care tasks.

Through hard work, determination, and the support of our rehab team, Melody made incredible progress. By the time she discharged home, she had regained her independence.

She was especially excited to return home to her husband and grandkids — and we were so proud to be part of her recovery journey. Melody has truly been a joy to everyone who had the pleasure of working with her. ❤️
