Forgiveness is one of the most powerful doorways to healing — yet it’s often the one we resist the most.
In trauma recovery, forgiveness isn’t about excusing what happened. It’s about freeing the body from carrying pain that no longer belongs to the present moment.
The following affirmations are sacred invitations — gentle openings to release emotional tension and reconnect with God, Spirit, or Divine Source.
Each one is meant to be read slowly, accompanied by mindful breathing to align body and spirit.
After each statement,
✨ Inhale through your nose, inviting divine light into your heart.
✨ Exhale through your mouth, releasing what no longer serves your peace.
✨ Pause briefly, feeling the statement integrate through your body before moving to the next one.
These pauses are where healing begins — where your body and Spirit meet in stillness.
Forgiveness Statements for Emotional Healing
1. I forgive myself for holding on so tightly because I was afraid to be hurt again.
My control was a form of protection — now I choose peace.
→ Inhale divine calm; exhale fear and release control.
Pause and feel your heart soften.
2. I forgive myself for abandoning my own needs to keep others comfortable.

My personal journey with EPT™ began in 2007 first as a client. I was aware that I had unhealthy pattern’s that permeated all aspect of my life. I had health issues, relationship issues, and desperately wanted to break these cycles. I tried the traditional path of counseling and depression medication. I immersed myself in church healing groups and tried numerous other holistic techniques but it just struck the surface.
When I found EPT™ I knew I had found something special and unique. Something that really worked and worked fast, I was no longer a victim or survivor. I had broken through the significant unhealthy patterns that had dictated my life.
As I was helped, I felt I had a desire and duty to help others. I know a lot about family dynamics; I am the oldest of six children, a mother, step mother and a mimi to seven grandchildren. While raising my family, I owned and operated a licensed day care. My experience with children and their parents gives me a unique relationship to the struggles families face. I understand the challenges parents experience both in their personal and professional lives.
My education in addition to Emotional Polarity Technique certifications include; Expert Level Life Coach certification, Clinical Kinesiology certification (muscle testing), Youth Mental Health First Aid USA certification – providing help to young people experiencing mental health problems such as depression, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders.
