Questions about payment arrangements: Yes, we do offer payment arrangements. It's 30% or 50% (depending on the date) of the balance down and the remaining payments are split to be completed 30 days prior to arrival.
Questions about credit cards: Yes, I do take them (sometimes) I'm not a fan of them because people get the service, charge back and then I have to sue them for payment. If you absolutely have to use a credit card for financial purposes, etc. we can talk about it.
Questions about Deposits: We'd prefer you get on a payment arrangement. The truth of the matter is you book with a deposit and then you're ultra stressed when you have to come up with surgery money, recovery home money, medication money, etc. Too many times people can't and then they are stuck without anywhere to stay after surgery or a slum motel. Their is always a method to my madness. I've done this 4 times.
Questions about Companions: Companions stay free with us because they are accompanying you to help with your aftercare. Companions booked under regular price are covered for meals as well. We do offer different specials if your companions are going to provide their own meals during their stay.
Questions about what to expect: We are most likely the only recovery home that will lay your entire experience out. We provide all of the information up front via email with all of your information on who to contact for what, as well as contact information for any contracted services. We do this to ensure you have a smooth experience. There are no surprises so that you feel safe and confident in your experience.
We're not a vacation home (although we provide a amazing vacation like experience), we're not a hospital. We are a transitional stay offering post operative care that teach you how to care for yourself at home.
We expect for you to engage and take part in your post operative experience. Knowledge is important in life saving measures.
That is why instead of dispensing medication, we will explain what the medication is for, provide a medication log, and help you set alarms. It's also why we don't have hospital beds. You won't have them at home.
We use what you have access to and teach you how to set up your bed to sleep, etc.
Once you leave us, there will be nobody to "do it for you". Exquisite is not like other homes; we are HEAVY on education and assistance, not "doing it all for you" and sometimes that is not for everyone. We'll do everything we can to make sure you're nurtured and comfortable if you allow us to!
Last, but not least, surgery is not for the weak! If you are not someone that is mentally strong and ready to invest in your post operative care, maybe think about this big step. It's worth it, definitely, but it's work!
