Put on your PURPLE for World Alzheimer's Day 💜 Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia, affecting memory, thinking, and behavior. Over time, symptoms can become severe enough to interfere with daily life.
At our skilled nursing facilities, we see firsthand the impact this disease has on patients, families, and caregivers. Early detection matters—recognizing the signs can help individuals access care and support sooner. Some early warning signs include memory loss that disrupts daily life, confusion with time or place, difficulty completing familiar tasks, and changes in mood or personality.
Visit the Alzheimer's Association website for a list of the Early Signs and Symptoms of Alzheimer’s and Dementia, and additional resources ALZ.org/alzheimers-dementia/10_signs 🎗️ Together, let’s raise awareness, support research, and honor those living with Alzheimer’s and their loved ones. ✨
