New pen blanks are out and sport fans are going to love them! These new pens blanks are now wood but a colored plastic. The colors of the blanks are colored mostly for college and professional teams however can be used to show pride in another team or reason. For example the Baltimore Ravens blank looks very similar to the Haywood Tomcats! Also another inlay kit is here. The cross inlay kit is a great way to show glory to God at home or in the office!

Prices may very but for most of the colored sports blanks are $35 apiece.(Mesa and slimline pro)
Cross pens come as opposites of each other as seen in the picture but can be purchased separately.(Mesa)

Maybe one of my most “professional” looking pens, the “Mesa” kit comes in a twist pen as well as a click pen. This pen, while is a bit heavier, is sleeker. This pen is $25, however prices may change depending on wood!

This was one of my more difficult pens I’ve made to date. They call these “Inlay Kits” and each piece is laser cut out. Yes, that mean all 50 stars and 13 stripes were cut out. I had to put each star and stripe in using tweezers. There are many different inlay kits out there for different occupations as seen with the red stripe on the flag to represent firemen and anchor pen. While these pens are more expensive they are some of the prettiest pens you can find.

As promised, here is ma more detailed descriptions of one of the pens form my last post. I took a piece of African pradauk and a piece of white oak from Gunther Bespoke Furniture and cut the centers out of both and swapped them. Next I glued them together and turned them 90 degrees. Then I cut the centers out, swapped them again, and glued them.

Well I’ve been trying new and more unique pen blanks! The first picture is of a slimline pen made of white oak with spalting (a fungus that eats the wood and leaves the black lines). The second picture is of a slimline pencil, made of oak sandwiched between two pieces of walnut. The third is a slimline pen with classic rosewood with a laser engraved name beside the clip (shout out to Allen Garland for the help). Finally, my favorite, a piece of African padauk and white oak mixed together with a slimline pro pen kit (more details to come in a later post)! Leave a comment or pm me for more details!

For all of you who like a click pen and love a handcrafted wood pen this is the pen for you. This is a new pen that also comes in a pencil. Both are click activated. They are bigger than a normal slimline but smaller than the cigar pen. There are several varieties of woods on hand to choose from, other woods can be ordered but may have additional cost!

I am very thankful and humbled by all of the people who have supported me by purchasing one of my handcrafted pens/pencils. I thought that I would make a little video showing the highlights of each step of the pen/pencil making process. This is one of my favorite pencils I have made so far!
