Magdalena “Maggie” Salinas, MPAS, PA-C
Born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, Maggie brings deep roots in the Rio Grande Valley and nearly two decades of advanced clinical experience to her patients. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Brownsville with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and later earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas Health Science Center in 2007.
After completing her training in San Antonio, Maggie returned home to serve women and families across the Valley. She has worked extensively in obstetrics and gynecology, urology, and reproductive endocrinology, and has spent the past nine years dedicated to supporting and empowering patients navigating infertility. Her approach is grounded in compassion, education, and evidence-based care.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Maggie is an active member of the Rio Grande Valley Physician Assistant Society, where she helps strengthen collaboration among advanced practitioners. She has lectured for UTRGV physician assistant students and presented at the RGVPAS Annual CME Conference, sharing her expertise in fertility care.
Outside of work, Maggie enjoys giving back to the community as a Boy Scouts merit badge counselor. She spends her free time with her family, listening to audiobooks, strength training, and training for triathlons.
