Breastfeeding is far more than just a simple decision, it is actually the first important health choice you make on behalf of your unborn child. That is why prenatal breastfeeding education is so important. Our Breastfeeding 101 class teaches the basics of nursing including the benefits, early feeding, positioning, latching and milk production. You will learn about breast anatomy, pumping, medications and breastfeeding and how to prepare for common concerns. Please call the helpline for more information and to book your class. Infant and Family Nutrition Agency along with the First United Methodist Church will have a community rummage sale on Saturday, March 26. Please donate your unwanted treasures to support our Stork’s Nest breastfeeding program. Gently used clothing, shoes, books, household items, toys etc are greatly appreciated and we will give you a donation receipt in return. Donations can be dropped off at our office.
