Last night some of the Valley Healing Hands team attended The Red Ball, a Stroke Research & Education Fundraiser Gala.

From the work we do every day, we know firsthand how devastating a stroke can be and how life-changing the right research and rehab can make. Being surrounded by a room full of people dedicated to making a difference felt so special. ❤️

POV: You think you know what your OT team does… and then they humble you. 😅🧡

This OT Month, our team organized hands-on activities simulating real OT diagnoses — and let's just say it was way harder than it looked! 👀

We laughed, we struggled, and we walked away with a whole new level of respect and appreciation for our patients AND our OT team.

Shoutout to our OTs and OTAs for making awareness interactive and fun! You reminded all of us why this work is so important. 🙌

April is Occupational Therapy Month and we are so excited to celebrate! 🧡

At our clinic, we are lucky to work alongside some of the most dedicated OTs and OTAs who show up every single day to help patients get back to doing the things they love.

OT is truly one of a kind — from helping a child button their shirt independently, to helping an adult return to cooking their favorite meal after an injury. The impact is real and beautiful. 💛

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear patient, Ms. Collazo. For many years, Ms. Collazo was a cherished member of our clinic family.

Ms. Collazo was more than just a patient; she always had a warm and vibrant presence, always bringing a smile and a kind word. We were privileged to have known her and to have provided her care.

We are deeply grateful for the trust she placed in us and for the many blessings she shared with our team. Her strength and resilience were an inspiration to us all. We will forever cherish the memories we made together.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Ms. Collazo's family and friends during this difficult time. May she rest in peace.
